Flaming gorge

Something we have been wanting to do is go to flaming gorge. We finally made that happen last week. It was a fun little trip up there.

We visited the dam visitor's center, went on a dam tour, saw the dam fish, told lots of dam jokes, and had a great time!!

Livie saw this fish and got excited. She said, "GOLDFISH!!!"
Then she saw the mouth and said, "Oh, Dinosaur!!!"
She's a confused child, and darn cute.

Livie's goal was to try and climb through all the rails.

She actually almost succeeded on this one. 

I love how clear the green river is right here. 

Those pipes are where they let the water out. 

They said the water comes out with as much force as 52,000 basketballs per second. 

We are totally going back next June when they are doing it.

I thought the tour would be over for us at this point, but luckily her tantrum didn't last long.

The tour guide said they lose 420 gallons per minute from the water falling down the rocks by the dam.

We got to feed the fish!
