Mother's Day

I am the luckiest Mom alive! I am so blessed to have the wonderful girls that I have. There is nothing sweeter in the whole world than hearing Livie calling for Mommy from her crib when she wakes up. Or when Brooklyn draws me pictures and writes, "mom" on it. I love being a Mom!

I interviewed her, she knows me pretty well! You can tell from some of her answers that we have been working hard on packing.

An interview with Brooklyn age 4:

How old is Mommy?   She's 16

What is mommy's favorite thing to do at home? Pack

What is mommy's favorite food?   Hot dogs, hamburgers, peanut butter and jelly, and broccoli

Where does mommy work?   With me

What is mommy's favorite movie?   Mommy shows

What is mommy's favorite drink?   Dr Pepper

What does mommy like to do with you?   Play blocks

What is your favorite thing to do with mommy?  Feed the ducks, play at the park

What is mommy's favorite color?    Pink and red

What is mommy's favorite song?   eensy weensy spider

What is something mommy does at our house? Pack boxes

I have an awesome Mom. We have definitely not always gotten along, and if I hadn't moved away to college after high school we probably would have killed each other ;) But she is amazing, and my kids are so lucky to have her as a grandma.
They both love her to pieces, but Brooklyn has always had an extra special bond with her. When she was livie's age, I told her no to something, and she brought me the phone and said, "Call Gamma" something that she still occasionally does. So funny!
Every single day she asks to go to Grandma's house. Usually we can't go, and have to settle with a phone call or skype, but she talks to Grandma almost every single day.
I did an interview about Grandma Shellabarger with her. After I was done, she called Grandma and interviewed her too, and wrote down all her answers. It was very amusing, and sweet.
