Christmas Eve

We decided to do Christmas at our own house this year so we could start new traditions and enjoy quiet, family time. I'm so glad we did, it was a great Christmas :)
On Christmas eve we played outside, made cinnamon rolls, took naps, wrapped presents, and went to a friend's house to decorate cookies. When we got home, Brooklyn got to open her Christmas pajamas, and we told her the nativity story. We had such a great day!

Jason tied a rope to this sled.
Brooklyn enjoyed being pulled around the yard.

We didn't get the white Christmas we wanted, but that didn't
stop Brooklyn from enjoying the little snow we had!

Decorating cookies with our friends.
Their little girl is a month older than Brooklyn.

Eating the cookies! yum!

Both girls had SO much fun playing with Jason.
Look at the pure excitement on Brooklyn's face.

Back home, opening her elmo pajamas.
These were such a big hit, that she cried and cried when
I had to take them off to get her dressed the next morning.
