January

Our January has been too cold to do anything but stay inside and try and stay warm. We have been in the negatives a lot, even in the middle of the day. Brooklyn has stopped asking to play outside, because it's just TOO cold! We've been able to find plenty of things to keep us entertained inside.

January has also brought a few sad things.  Two weeks ago I attended the funeral of my cousin's wife. Yesterday my uncle passed away. He was out of state doing business, when he fell and hit his head. They did surgery, but he ultimately ended up with zero brain activity. He was a great person, and he is missed by many people!

(Oh, and she has to mess up ALL the blankets if she is going to be on her bed)

Brooklyn has been officially DONE taking naps for a few weeks now.
Sometimes she just can't help it though...
